This is the place to post your Smithfield events and notices including sports registrations, class reunions, fund raisers, school events, etc. If it’s Smithfield-related, we want to post it. (Not-for-profit organizations only please.) In most cases your info will be posted within a few business days of receiving it. If reporting for an organization, include your name and position within the organization. Please email your info to Dave Duchesneau.

Posts are listed in the order received. Events will be removed after completion. General notices need to be renewed every 90 days.

The Town of Smithfield reserves the right to screen all submissions and determine if they are appropriate for this website.

Exploring Smithfield 2024

Smithfield Economic Development Commission

The Smithfield Economic Development Commission is pleased to invite you to participate in the upcoming Exploring Smithfield event. Businesses are an important part of our community in Smithfield and we are always looking for ways to promote them. The Exploring Smithfield event will feature a punch card, which will be available for purchase by consumers for $15.00. Punch cards can be purchased either online or in person at the Smithfield Town Hall (Town Planner's Office) starting on June 1st. The punch card will include 26 small businesses in town offering promotions, discounts and/or giveaways. When a consumer redeems the participating business promotion the business will punch the card. Consumers will have until July 31st to patronize participating businesses and have the punch cards completed with as many holes as possible.

In addition to the businesses discounted offers, consumers will have the opportunity to earn a crystal apple from the Apple Trails event which is planned for this fall. Participants that visit 10 or more participating businesses can present their punch card at the Smithfield Town Hall to receive their free crystal apple.

Punch cards can be picked up at the Town Planner’s Office at the Smithfield Town Hall, 64 Farnum Pike, or upon request, can be mailed to participants.
